Our Contributing Therapists

Maxine Depeiza - Therapist

A therapist since 1992 and trained in the UK with the International Therapy Examination Council, Maxine is highly qualified in a number of holistic body treatments including Deep Tissue Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Hopi Ear Candling, Maternity treatments, Geothermal Stones and various  spa treatments.  She is an ITEC trained lecturer and is actively involved as the President of Reflexology in Barbados and a member of various other overseas Associations.

“As a practicing therapist I aspire to indentify a solution in helping the receiver find internal peace, for a relaxed mind brings equilibrium to the human body; not easily achieved in today’s demanding world.  With a sense of intuition and a passion for what I do, I visualise transformation in an individual, as one would measure the tuning of an instrument: adjusting and re-tuning, allowing for that precious moment of stillness and giving the mind and body time to naturally flow into harmony”.  Maxine Depeiza

  Natasha Holligan - Therapist

Natasha has ten years experience as a therapist, previously working at the Almond Village Spa.  She is trained in a wide range of areas including facials, massage, body scrubs and other body treatments.

"When I was younger, I would take my allowance and buy beauty products for my skin because I always wanted to keep it in the best condition at all times. Little did I know years later it would be an area that I would be working in, benefiting others. Facials are my favourite treatments as it is one of the areas where people struggle mostly - whether with wrinkles, acne, dehydration or even to release stress and aches and pains. It is important to maintain good clean skin and it gives me great pleasure to achieve this on people and to be able to make a difference and to see the benefits after a treatment. Through my education, training and experience I know that the technique you use in a treatment along with excellent products is the absolute key to client satisfaction.  My advise is to have a treatment at least once a month.  A proceedure that will not only benefit the quality of the skin but also the body and mind - creating a feeling of overall well-being and beauty"
